"Our mission is to share the stories of Quinte West's history and to promote and preserve our heritage."
The hall houses a large collection of photos and articles about the history of Quinte West and many artifacts donated by local families. We gratefully accept donations of photos and artifacts that are related to the businesses, houses and families of Quinte West.
What's hiding in your attic?
One of our ongoing projects is the scanning of thousands of pictures in order to have an on-line, searchable database available to the public.
HELP US FIND THE FOLLOWING
Formerly owned by the Jacques, Sills, James and Tripp families, 108 Henry Street Trenton (corner of Henry and Maclellan), is being restored by its new owners. They are hoping someone out there has pictures of the interior or back exterior to help guide them. Contact us if you can help.
The Trent Port Historical Society was established in 1980 and was originally located in the Dufferin Centre, it moved to the Trenton Town Hall - 1861 when the Dufferin Centre was closed and the local police force moved out of the Hall. The Society was instrumental in the preservation and renovation of its new home at 55 King Street.
